A review of fan settings, air readings and the branch occupancy map finds a gap between the total in the public summary and the conditions recorded at the North Fan chamber. The difference does not prove that anyone misstated the file. It shows what the public count leaves out: the fan is lowered during a stone inspection near one return shaft.
The fan settings, air readings and the branch occupancy map lists 67 readings with a fan setting and occupied branch attached; the previous window lists 62. Kip Copper checked both against check-out slips compared with the handoff mark at the next station. The source was checked against a second copy held by Niri Flint. No dated correction to either copy was present when the comparison closed.
The maintenance office posts a single average. Residents ask for the reading at the occupied branch during the change. The office has not supplied a separate measure that would settle the disagreement, so the two explanations remain competing accounts.
This report supports a narrower finding: the count is repeatable, but it is not enough to decide how to compare an air reading when the fan setting changes during inspection.
The table records the result and the branches included in the decision. The board recorded the outcome that it sent a separate sign question to a new route review without reopening this one.
