Start with route cards, spoken-name notes and translations requested at the wall. It is the source used to decide how a new resident can ask for directions when a sign and a spoken name differ; it is not the decision itself. The rule only works if the source describes conditions at the notice wall at East Entry.

Known: the current file counts 71 public cards with a translated destination and a route mark, compared with 68 in the prior window. Alimited route trial starts with a dated sign at each affected junction. The entries have dates and a named clerk.

Disputed: Mappers favor the shorter carved label. Residents want the local name kept on the card as a search term. One side emphasizes the posted total; the other points to a place has a spoken name that does not fit the current carved label.

Why it matters: the decision determines which residents can rely on the service and which staff must carry out the change. The file does not settle that by itself.

Next: The Year first, deep rest window 1 file remains open for its scheduled decision. The notice wall will add a cross-name card beside the carved label.
